Don't wish time away by saying you can't wait. It goes fast enough as it is.

Not much has happened lately really, but I needed a change.
So apparently a lot of my favorite stories from yesteryear are missing, so I’m browsing the internet/my printed pages for the ones I used to love. They’ve either been deleted from the websites, or they’re just plain gone. Well, what will be an all that. So I’ve decided if I really like a story online I’m saving it to my computer. Take THAT fickle web page owners!!!

Went to the Necto party on Monday. I was a drag queen; “Fairy” Godmother. The costume was a lot of effort, but it worked out fine. The dress was homemade, the shoes were three-inch heels, the wings were big, the hair was TEEEEEASED, the wand was store-bought, lashes were added, and gray makeup was added to look like five o’ clock shadow. Before we got there we had to stop at Denny’s and the hostess said “Aren’t you pretty, where are you ladies going?” Because she knows us, and we mentioned the Halloween party, so she said to have fun. Spent a lot of time waiting in the line outside, but I got a ton off good zingers going and chatted with some interesting people with my friends, so it was okay with me. Like, my magic wand was a Dirty Wand that could increase or decrease boob, penis, and butt size. I got a lot of requests for use of my wand, and several people outright called me Fairy Godmother and made wishes. That was really nice, and it was what I was going for, so it worked out great. Thanks to mom for making the costume!!! Jacob walked up behind me and said, “Hi Maggie.” But he was Rorschach from Watchmen so I couldn’t tell who he was right away. Met his roommate Slim who was the Joker, but I couldn’t tell who Mary was; I think Seth said something about Shirley Temple. Later Josh and Bubbles stopped by and he was William Wallace. A certain dope asked him if it was really a kilt, so of course he has to show us…THANKS Josh! Just…thanks. >_< Oh yeah, Seth was Death, Sam was a Slytherin student, so was Rachel, Mary was a dead Renaissance woman, and Hannah was a kitty cat. It was neat once we got inside to see all the wicked costumes and everything. There was one guy who basically painted the metal look on his skin, and he caught me looking at him so we just smiled and waved at each other; he was adorable. I saw a guy dressed as Cloud Strife, which was bitchin so I gave him the rock sign and said “CLOUD RULES!” He nodded. Then a guy walked up to me and asked me if I could flap my wings; not really. Finally, one of the DJ’s walked up to me and gave me a free pass for my next visit! BITCHIN! Two now! Later at Denny’s it was really cool, we just did more musical trivia, and talked to this drunk guy named Thomas that wanted to make friends with us. He looked like Jack Black. Plus I saw the Cloud Strife guy there, and I mentioned who I was, and he said “Well thank you honey,” and he hugged me. I mentioned that at the Heroes and Villains night I dressed as Tifa, and he gave me the pound. I mentioned that I wanted to remember the moment, so I took a picture of him, and he wanted one WITH me, so Rachel took our picture. I got one of Thomas too, though he doesn’t look half as fun as he really was. And as we left Thomas said “Nice to meet you fairy godmother” and he kissed my hand. See? Chivalry is NOT dead!!! I get weekly demonstrations of that on Saturdays thank you very much! So overall, Monday was a friggin blast!

Had Alex this weekend, and she’s so intelligent. She’s able to make a few “s” sounds now, and she’s getting better about using “I” instead of me. And her latest fascination? GHOSTBUSTERS! She *loves* the Demon Dogs, and “Dut-uh Pet-a Rinkman!” lol. She squeezes you if she gets scared, which she did to me quite a lot when she saw Uncle Bryan’s death costume. Which is weird, because she *loves* Ghost Rider and Shawn of the Dead! She likes his skull face and motorcycle, and the moaning zombies. Love for the z-men! Oh, and of course Willy Wonka! Those Oompa Loompa’s are amazing to her!!! Lol. Plus we baked cookies together. The only downside was that as we were leaving JC and Char’s place, I slipped off the steps. Whoops. It was great to see her again. We couldn’t get her last weekend, because there was too much costume work to get done, so we had to make up for lost time.

So there ya go! I managed to make FEW things seem like a LOT with big paragraphs and all the fun I had. ^_^ If I remember something I forgot to mention I'll be happy to post it. The smell I’m running with now is mowed grass! Oooh I love that smell on a spring or summer day. It’s one of the few things I enjoy about the summer season.
